I didn’t learn this until I had to. Became an aircraft mechanic and knew how to read a ruler but at some point you have to really understand the ins and outs of. Now the very first thing I teach kids is to count up the increments. Cuz there’s 6 inch rules with 100s, 16ths 32 etc. I even ended up buying a tape measure with metric because I worked in the engine shop which sometimes had Rolls Royce engines and they had British engineers. So both measurements were acceptable and sometimes the hair of difference can mean changing a part or not. Anyways hopefully some day the US will go metric. I’m not really invested into the idea but it wouldn’t kill me. 5 grams = 1 nickel. I have a tiny head start. Maybe biden will do an executive order. He’s already disliked enough no one would notice. The only reason I’m here is to find an alternative word for increment. Thesaurus is limited sometimes

So I'm not being trained on CNC machines, I used to do laser etching, laser measurement, and assembly at my job. I grew up with metric, this is very confusing. I guess I'll watch this video a bunch of times till I get it I wish the whole world used metric, way superior.

Why doesnt braker pop if you make short circuit??

Is the wire type is same for self shielded and gas shielded??? I mean if we are using gas for shielding then the wire will be the same or without flux ????

Feel if had teachers who could teach us (but did not) 😢. Algebra was just being introduced from old math and math teacher just passed us with C’s (or never pass high school)! In college got statistics but found don’t know many of the “in between, tiniest marks” 😳 & on length of 5 inches & 1/4th even finding center (ummm), then where on ruler of size above is 1/3rd of that area & then assume all above that mark would be 2/3rds of page? It’s sad not taught practical “important to know in real life) proper way to use a ruler & now my brain hurts as just winging it best can until real person can sit w me & put colors and both numbers on bold print ruler & add colors with both & fractions forgot minute left class!
